"Chris,
I wanted to give you an update on one of the cases that you provided Sub-rosa for us on. John Smith [not his real name] was claiming that he suffered from major depression due to his work with --, so severe that he couldn't leave his home. With authority from the client, I requested that Western Limited obtain Mr. Smith on film, as we had a suspicion that he was exaggerating his symptoms.
We provided the film from Western Limited to our defense attorney who then in turn forwarded it on to the defense QME on the case, who had previously not only found industrial injury, but also permanent disability as a result.
After the films that you obtained were provided to him, not only did he find that there was no longer any industrial injury, he also found numerous problems with the applicant's expert's assessment of the claimant as well.
